The Taj Mahal lives up to every accolade and superlative that one has heard stated about this magnificent structure. When my eyes fell on its glistening white marble walls, I was in awe. As I walked closer and began to observe the intricate workmanship of the inlaid jeweled stones and latticework, I felt more and more a sense of respect and calm. I don’t think any place on earth has had the same effect on me.
